Private chef · Valle Crucis, North Carolina
We’ve partnered with yhangry so a local chef can cook for your group at Valle View Retreat. You choose the menu. They shop, cook, serve and clean up.
Dinner, handled
After a day on the slopes at Sugar Mountain or out on the Blue Ridge Parkway, nobody wants to plan, shop and cook for twenty.
That’s why we’ve teamed up with yhangry, a private chef marketplace with chefs across North Carolina’s High Country. You tell them the date, the size of your group and what you like to eat. A chef plans the menu, brings the ingredients, cooks in the kitchen here and leaves it clean.
It works for a relaxed brunch on your first morning just as well as a three-course dinner for a birthday or family reunion.
Why it works here
Plenty of rentals make a chef work around them. This one was set up for big group meals from the start.
Double oven, 5-burner stove, sous vide, stand mixer and serving trays, so your chef has room to work.
A long dining table inside, and a back porch under string lights that seats 16+ for dinner.
After dinner, the fire pit, 12 Adirondack chairs and an 8-person hot tub are a few steps from the table.
What to book
Every menu is built around your group. These are the ones guests reach for most.
Pancakes, eggs, fresh fruit and good coffee, served while everyone wakes up to the valley views.
A plated, multi-course menu for a birthday, an anniversary or the big night of a reunion.
Sharing platters down the long table, built around what your group actually likes to eat.
Grilled meats, sides and dessert served out on the back porch, with the fire pit lit for later.
Good reasons to book
A private chef turns an ordinary evening into the part of the trip everyone talks about. Guests often book one for:
Bring your favorite bottles and the chef can plan the menu around them. The wine bar has the glassware ready.
How it works
Share your dates, number of guests, budget and any dietary needs.
Compare menus from local chefs, message them with questions and pick the one you like.
Your chef arrives with the ingredients, cooks, serves and cleans the kitchen before leaving.
